As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and SERA Archives thriller novels, I always enjoy visiting standout bookstores, and Barnes & Noble in Calabasas at The Commons is a beautiful location. The store has a strong two-story design with escalators leading up to the second level. The layout feels open and inviting, with a warm interior that makes it easy to settle in and spend time browsing. One of the standout features is the manga section. It’s large and well stocked, and it really draws attention when you walk through. The mystery and thriller wall is also nicely set up, with a good range of titles and a clean presentation. The café is a great space, with a mural of famous authors that adds character and makes it a comfortable place to sit and read. I always enjoy seeing my own book on the shelf here, which adds a personal touch to the visit. The surrounding Commons area

Thank goodness this Barnes & Noble is still around! It’ one of the last ones standing, however, I have heard that book stores such as this are making a come back so I hope it will be true. I digress, but anyway, I have been coming to this location for a long time, over 20 years to be more precise. I love coming here as the store is spacious and his many selections. I appreciate the Starbucks coffee shop inside as well.

I always love my trips to this store. It is definitely one of the nicer locations that I have been to. Huge section of Legos and a very large children's section too.

This place is awesome! Very comfortable and open feel with a large inventory of reading material. One of the larger bookstores I have seen still in existence. What a wonderful experience to go through physical reading material for once instead of being bound by internet material. There's a nice coffee lounge by Starbucks within the facility as well. It makes for a nice reading and meeting location. The mall that it is located within is a special place to be in Calabasas as well. It is a Rick Caruso development and there's many other fine and high and shops nearby. The restaurants in the area are fabulous also. It's a great place to take kids and spend an afternoon of shopping and lounging around. Be sure to check out all of the turtles at the water feature. There's plenty of parking. It has easy access to the 101 freeway.
